Vasahus Flatbed Trailer

Blackburn Trailers are manufacturers of Freightlight articulated non HGV lightweight trailers and have been helping Vasahus construction of Ashington, West Sussex by reducing their transport costs.

Vasahus have long specialized in distinctive and economical environmentally acceptable building methods and, with their energy efficient cost effective houses, they needed a more cost effective energy efficient method of transporting their sectional buildings to sites all over the country.

Blackburn Trailers developed a lightweight flatbed articulated trailer purpose built to take Vasahus sectional buildings and, coupled to the Iveco Dailey mini tractor unit, they are proving very effective and able to carry additional payload more cost effectively than any other type of non HGV vehicle.

Having improved efficiency in being able to pre load their own trailers, Vasahus have substantially reduced operating costs and with more trailers in the pipeline, Blackburn Trailers is looking forward to working with Vasahus in future cost saving projects.
