9m Coach Built Truck Body

We were asked by glazing company Solarglass to manufacture a mobile showroom which could be driven around the country to promote their glass products. The idea was that the mobile showroom would be manned by 1 or 2 staff so it needed to be easy to transport and set up as well as showing off the company’s product in the best possible light.

We obviously did a good job as they ended up ordering two showrooms!

The mobile showroom was fitted with hydraulically operated glass pods. These pods were sited in the body of the truck and, at the touch of a button, would extend from the side of the truck body into position. These pods had reinforced glass floors fitted with uplighting to create a stunning visual effect and in the wall opposite the glass pod we fitted a moveable glass wall to allow the light to reflect and refract.

To finish off the stunning interior, the main sales area was fitted with a spider wall glazing system (see pictures below).
