At Blackburn Trailers, we have always produced specialist vehicles and over the years these have encompassed most services you can imagine and some you probably can’t.

The folks at Cat Protection had a requirement for a mobile cat neutering operating theatre that could be easily moved by one person, contain a reception area for members of the public as well as safely and humanely contain a number of cats both pre and post operation.

Apart from this the main requirement to provide a space suitable for a hygienic operating environment, they also needed 240 v power for lighting and equipment, heating and ventilation for comfort and hot and cold running water.

A few more requirements were added along the way such as providing an outside covered area for public information duties and fund raising functions just for good measure.

Cats Protection were delighted with the mobile operating theatre and the results in these pictures speak for themselves.
