Pembrokeshire Tourist Information Centre

This 4.7m roll on roll off special body was built by Blackburn Trailers for Pembrokeshire Council for use with one of their existing vehicles. The trailer was to be deployed in remote parts of the Welsh coastline as a public information and advice centre.

Designed to be self sufficient by using solar and wind power charging on board batteries, the trailer is able both to operate in remote locations and help show the merits of generating sustainable sources of power.

Using an existing vehicle to transport the kiosk helped keep the costs to a minimum and helped to demonstrate the Councils awareness of environmental issues. Our years of experience mean that it is possible to convert existing vehicles of all types to new uses.

The kiosk is an ideal promotional unit with lots of branding areas and being strong and secure, it is resistant to vandalism.
